Noé Cuéllar is a sound artist, composer, and photographer originally from South Texas; graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He frequents close collaboration with sound artist Joseph Kramer as Coppice.
A variety of his work has been performed or exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Third Coast International Audio Festival, Pritzker Pavilion/Experimental Sound Studio, New Music at the Green Mill (Chicago); The Flea Theater, Neighborhood Public Radio/Whitney Biennial (NYC); Megapolis Audio Art and Documentary Festival (Boston); Spark Festival of Electronic Music & Arts (Minneapolis); University of Michigan (Ann Arbor); and internationally in Ireland, Iceland, India, Sweden, and Mexico.
Recent commissions include Synapse Arts Collective, Poetry Foundation, and Electric Eel Films.
