Spare Room with a Crucifix

2009; video installation

Interdisciplinary/curatorial project portraying Chicago-based performance artists reiterating themes from four performances by choreographer Adam Rose (Antibody Dance); an exploration of the boundaries of collaboration and the levels of extraction of a single performance potential. Installed at the MEXIC-Arte Museum in Austin, TX as part of Tarp ≠ Lona, a group exhibition curated by Eduardo X. García.  Read more here.

Performances Mother’s Revenge, Saturn, Conjunction, and 0 = 2 are evoked by artists Smiley Thims, Adam Rose, Marissa Perel, and Charles Mahaffee; also featuring Craig Rusty Donavin, and Silvita Diaz Brown.
